Omega Sektor are now introducing themed gaming nights to suit all players from MMO's to first person shooters! We are offering team-players a special 20% discount if you bring 5 players (That's right - buy 5 get the 5th free!) on Tuesday for Call of Duty 4 which we like to call "Call of Tuesdays". Now you have no excuse to practice with your team mates as we will be running mini-leagues, knockout cups, tournaments and more, every single week! Also, top teams and players may be able to pick up some top prizes, but you'll have to be in it to win it!

MMO players do not despair! We are offering the same prices on Mondays for our "MMOndays" for 5 player groups for guild/clan activity or just for fun. Head over to our forums if you have any questions about our offers.

We will be hosting a themed event around Pirates and Ninjas with fancy dress and will be dueling each other to show who will reign supreme. Show them who's best by joining up as either Pirates or Ninjas, though we all know that *Ninjas will win especially with me (Cee) as a Ninja!
This is going to be a fun fueled event, or perhaps fueled by grog and sake...

The Incredible HULK versus my DAD!

Omega Sektor, the UK's biggest gaming centre is hosting a Father's Day event like Birmingham has never seen. On 15th June families are invited to the centre to nominate their dad to battle against the Incredible Hulk in the brand new video game.

Entry is £5.00 but dads play for free and the doors are open from 10AM. Courtesy of SEGA, the Dad to champion over other dads will receive a copy of the game and a Nintendo DS console.

Fueled with fury, SEGA's The Incredible HULK features key moments from the film, as well as additional plot lines and characters from the character's rich comic-book universe. Players smash through New York city, battling gigantic enemies amidst soaring skyscrapers in a massive open world.

CS:S LAN Finals

With the online segment of the CS:S season at a close the four following teams will now move on to the LAN finals.

The preliminary date for the LAN will be July 19th and the winner shall leave with a prize of five hundred pounds. Once we have confirmed the date with all four teams we shall do the draw to see who plays who.

TNA Impact: Tekken 5 DR Tournament Results

Congratulations to Harry Cheong, winner of our TNA Impact: Tekken 5 DR Tournament, and the lucky recipient of 2 VIP tickets to see TNA Live on Friday 14th June in Coventry.

Commiserations to Azido, coming in second place, followed by Jet and Mattis falling in the semi finals.

Good games were had by all despite the unfortunate lag on the overhead projector, with highlights including Mattis' rise to glory over Mobeen, Harry and Azido's 3 game 9 round slugfest final and the utter beating (yet again) given to myself by all players.

Fighting game DOJO Nights are held at Omega Sektor every Sunday night from 5 o'clock onwards - next week, 'The Road to Legends' build up and practice session.

To celebrate the release of their new wrestling title - TNA Impact! - Midway have given us at Omega Sektor a fabulous prize to give away to some lucky gamers. As part of our ongoing series of fighting competitions we shall be holding a Tekken: Dark Resurrection tournament where the winner shall take home two tickets to the upcoming TNA wrestling event at Coventry June 14th.
